The All Africa Bishops Council is a Council of Bishops, Churches and Organizations which confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour, according to the Scriptures, and therefore seek to fulfil their common calling to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Vision
All Africa Bishops Council is an institution which will mobilize spirit filled leaders who elieve in the Almighty God through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. To insure theb supreme Word of God is spread and applied in Africa, reaching every ethnic group, tribe, race, systems, beliefs, cultures, kingdoms and governments: By dealing with the Spiritual climate of the continent for the Gospel to be preached
Mission
The council will form relevant structures in different communities thus reaching, dealing with social needs and spiritual challenges. Have control measures by developing monitoring and reporting processes that will ensure continuity, sustainability, relevance and effectiveness of the council. The council will ensure that all partners adhere to biblical principles as far as leadership is concerned.
Aims
- To proclaim the Gospel to all mankind.
- To establish measures to expose, eradicate corruption among all people.
- To participate into all measures that will be placed in order to stop crime.
- To prevent, stop abuse against children, women and elderly people.
- To champion the awareness, prevention and care for Hiv/Aids, TB Diabetes, High blood pressure and so forth.
- To be the instrument of peace in all spheres of life
- To place measures that will help enhance, motivate the youth in their daily endeavour for Sustainability, grow and development
- To help and advice all churches, ministries leaders to grow in the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. To establish, facilitate, consecrate
- To establish a Theological institution for training all people.
- To be involved in partnerships with most of the governments projects.
Our Objectives
- To foster that unity which is both God’s will for creation and God’s gift to the Church.
- To do and encourage all such things as will reduce those factors, whether doctrinal, liturgical or practical, which keep the Churches apart.
- To engage in such activities on behalf of its member Churches as are integral to the Church’s worship, witness and service.
- To assist the Church, wherever situated, to carry out its mission in and to the world.
- To enter into dialogue with people of other faiths and persuasions
- To undertake joint action and service on behalf of the Churches and to encourage co-operation among member Churches. To give expression to the Lordship of Christ over every aspect and area of human life by promoting the spiritual, social, intellectual and physical welfare of all people
